Following a brief default on my account last year, MTN appointed a collection company to collect the due funds from me without writing to me and informing me of the undertaking. The company started sending me letters of demand though my account was current at the time. I rectified my account but I'm still receiving emails from the collection company. I notified MTN on several occasions and they promised to address it but never got to it. Ihaven't received correspondence from MTN even though I raised the issue on several occasions. I have been with Mtn for several years now and I'm really disappointed by the level of ignorance I'm experiencing. This listing with the collection company is detrimental to my credit rating and MTN doesn't seem to care although I spend over R1000 per month with the company. One would expect a great service from a company of this calibre but I guess the yellow colour on their branding is more like a warning sign. So disappointed!
