We have been without telephone service since 04.01.2013 due to a cable that was cut, and I believe I reported the fault on the same day, Telkom's Ref/ 124cwk040113. I have been calling telkom every couple of weeks to find out the progress, all I hear that they are attending to it, 2 months have now passed and still nothing, my husband runs his business from home and you can imagine what an inconvenience it is without the internet, what upset me terribly is that I learnt my next door neighbours phone was fixed 3 weeks ago cabling that was put onto his premises, I would like to know as a customer of Telkom as well why the preferential treatment to one and not the other to crown it all Telkom had a wires running across our property that was cut and left hanging on the ground, I have three grandchildren at home and those wires are just hanging and lying on the ground, I will hold Telkom responsible should anything happen to them, I have reported the wiring to them and was promised that they would send the technician out, up till today no one has ever been to investigate. I might as well cancell my contract and make use of another service provider.
