9 days without a working home telephone line

Reported Fault on 16 January and was told it should be resolved within 3 days. Its now 9 days since the report and 3 phone calls later and no-one can confirm when an engineer will be sent out to look at the problem.

Called 24 Jan again and asked to speak to a manager. Been on hold for over 15 min.

I have a sick mom at home who needs to line to be live for possible emergency's, but all Telkom can say is they do not know when they can send someone to fix the line and offer no way to expedite this as an urgent matter.
