MTN's "promotion" on data purchases is a

Telecommunications

After purchasing 100 mb worth of data on a number of occasions, i have come to notice that the expiry date given on the sms recieved after the purchase is incorrect. The supposed expiry date for the extra 50mb on a 100mb purchase is 3 days, and the expiry date on the 10mb promo is 1 day. My problem is that the sms notifying me of the expiry date seldom comes through on the same day of purchase, meaning on a 100mb purchase is now actually only 2 days instead of 3. On purchasing 20mb for the first time yesterday 23/1 i wasnt aware the expiry period was only 1 day until i got the notification today 24/1 at which point the promotional extra data had already expired. What i find now is that apart from havinng the most expensive data bundles on the market, mtn have now also resorted to cheating consumers in an extremely underhanded way.
