Fixed line not working for over a month

Our fixed line just stopped working over a month ago (no dial tone anymore and when you call it it says 'the number you have dialled does not exist'). I called the call centre early in January to report the fault. I was assured it would be fixed within 4 working days. I received an SMS that they were working on it and a week later an SMS that the 'report ref was restored'. However, still no dial tone or working phone. So I called the call centre again today - what a disaster. Besides waiting on the line for over 15 minutes, the first person I spoke to told me that the line had been de-activated! I asked why and he said he didn't know and that I should speak to the activations department. He put me through and after another 10 minutes I got through to a women who hardly listened to a word I said and put me straight back on hold. The third person I spoke with (after over 30 minutes of waiting and paying for the call on my mobile) was not from the activation department and couldn't help. I finally gave up!
It is completely unclear why our line was deactivated and why we haven't had a line for over a month. Please can someone please fix this ASAP. Thanks.
