SERVICE AT TELKOM ID DISASTROUS

As a company we are clients of Telkom. Due to service we swtiched over to a wireless service provider but have retained our old numbers due to the mileage and the fact that we have built a client base overbthe past years on the relevant numbers. I cancelled data packages in September and October 2013. Mailed and faxed requesting confirmation. We then applied for 0861 numbers. I was informed these would not be released until our account had been settled. Billing was completely incorrect. I sent a letter of complaint and have yet to receive a response. Last week due to lines being down from our other service provider I came to the realisation that both Telkom lines had been discontinued and not only the data as requested. After having been in to pur nearest branch and dealing with a manager I have yet to get a reply or any finality. The service at Telkom is DISMAL. Will Telkom be reimbursing our company for monies lost due to our line being disconnected by an inept ill qualified member of staff. "Not my department" is a phrase Telkom employees seem to hold dear. Shocking!
