September 2012 we moved to Telkom, opened account for business and residential lines. We wanted our old numbers, and ported them to Telkom. In February I found out how and requested a number change for the business and home number. I wrote 1 letter with both numbers to be changed! The home number was changed and is working... as I requested, but the business number was added to the account. So that next statement I received I had to pay for 3 numbers on 2 lines... IMPOSSIBLE! I phoned Telkom almost everyday, and everyone has a different story to what I must do, the one lady even said that it is sorted out, just to find the problem there on the next account. I sent cancellation letters. A consultant advised that I must rather go into the Telkom branch Menlyn and sort this out... as I went there, waited to see someone that can help me, but they only do new servises??? How can it take 5 months just to cancel one number that Telkom added to my account, R1135 that we have paid already for a number that is not even working!!! TERRIBLE service!
