Waiting ages for land line to be installed

I ordered our new residential telkom line at the beginning of the year. Thw salesperson said installation should take two weeks. I had no problem, we all know how ling Telkom takes the technical department contacted me last week and informed me that they would be installing this Tuesday. Three days ago and I am still waiting. Not a phone call to apologise that they were not coming or to arrange another appointment. Do I just have to sit around and wait? No wonder Telkom is loosing clients. Maybe I should look elsewhere. Telkom get your act together. You cannot afford to new clients.
