Here is another Telkom complaint.

I ordered a line 2-3 weeks ago, the response was fast and the next week a technician was sent out, I received a sms for a full day appointment. The person showed up, had a look in my house, then went to the box. This is the last i herd from him, I had to phone Telkom 3 times to find out what was going on... there was something wrong with the line.

Tho weeks later I receive a for a whole day appointment, no one even pitched up and after 5 more calls at the end of the day I had to call again and find out that no one bothered to fix the Issue and some one else is looking at it now.

I receive no information or updates from Telkom and I sit at home and wait for no one and no one contacts me. The case has been escalated 2 times now but still I get no information except when I am phoning them, not from my land line, and waiting 10-20 minutes to get an answer.

How can it still be this hard to get a Telkom line, it feels like in 10 years the only improvements are to the sign up where they reel you in and then leave you to wait months for service.

How can it possibly take a month to get a phone and adsl line installed?
