Still being billed after complaint

From July 2013 I have been trying to cancel ADSL, and just keep closer option 2. I am still receiving statements and being charged for ADSL (After my previous post on hellopeter, the ADSL have been disconnected). But my request fell of deaf ears. Month after month I received statements demanding payment for something I did not
want. So when I posted a complaint on
hellopeter, I got a call saying I must pay R750 and the balance would be sorted (which, may I add... I should not even be paying that, due to Telkoms pathetic service & reconnection fee which I should not be
liable to pay for). But regardless, I paid the amount of R750 on the 8th of december 2013. Thereafter I receive my telkom statement for december, the statement reflects the amount I paid... But ADSL is
still charged on that statement for the month, and I am ordered to pay R520.85... For what exactly? If you are just charging me for closer option 2, It does not amount to R520.85. Yet I kept to my side of the verbal agreement, seems like Telkom does not keep to their word. This is a classic example of why we have the Consumer Protection Act, because of companies like Telkom who's customers request fall on deaf ears.
