When I first joined Mweb, I was extremely satisfied with their service.

Recently however, their technical number appears to not work correctly or is wrong, and calling to cancel one of my ADSL accounts which was no longer required resulted in nothing being done.

I was told that due to the cancellation date, 28 November 2013, it was too late to cancel the debit order, but the amount would be credited to the account at the end of December.

At the end of December, I was debited for the full amount again.

Calling into their accounts department resulted in being told that there was no record of the cancellation and that all cancellations were done via email - something that was omitted from the previous conversation in November.

I have completed this Hellopeter in the time that it I have been on hold to the cancellations department. Clearly, once you are locked into their money making you cannot get out!

If I ever get to speak to someone again, I will be cancelling all my Mweb accounts. Another lesson learned.

Very disappointing service from an organisation I once thought highly of.
