Incessant email notifications

I keep receiving smses informing me that I have new mail. On average I receive 50 smses per day! Whenever i try and log into my vodamail address I get a message that says "The login details entered are incorrect. Please verify your Username and Password and try again." even though I'm already logged in. Sometimes I get a message telling me something about bad gateways. I need this resolved. I called customer care and they promised t fix this but nothing has been done.
