Don't expect accountability from Vodacom Staff

1. handed Samsung S4 in for replacement of battery ONLY.
2. SPECIFICALLY asked if there was a risk for loss of information and assured there was none
3. I did not hand the phone in for REPAIRS: and given the undertaking given by (I think) Lorraine, did not regard myself at risk.
4. Signed a form but received no copy - specifically checked for terms and conditions but there were none attached.
5. Lost all my information and most of my contacts.
6. Lodged complaint and given undertaking of feedback but none.
7. My interpretation of this: Vodacom wanted to test my phone to protect Samsung from a Blackberry repeat ito customers losing trust. They tested my phone without my instructions and caused me harm.
8. They claim to CARE for their customers and its a "way of life". That is so far from the truth and in my view, give them time. The cracks are showing. People are realising that Vodacom is not as great as they make themselves out to be. Their empty promises of HONESTY, TRUST, GOOD FAITH, PROFESSIONALISM is, in my experience, are just words written by someone else and not lived by Vodacom as an entity.
