I received my phone back yesterday from Vodacom Key West. Job card indicated I need a new battery. The person who returned my phone said CATEGORICALLY that they did NOT have any batteries in stock for my phone. I drove around to 3 other Vodacom shops in my area to hear exactly the same answer: Sorry, no stock. However when I reported this to Vodacom's customer service department, they phoned Key West and were told that they actually have stock.

I demanded that a battery be delivered to me and that I could pay for it next time I visit Key West. Nobulungisa Ganca phoned to say that she would arrange it with the Key West shop.

This morning Key West phoned to say that they will deliver but that I needed to have R500.00 ready to pay for it. Just who the do Vodacom think they are? Do they really think they have the right to make people run all over the place at their own cost just because Vodacom's staff are useless?

I expect someone at Vodacom to now resolve this problem within the next few hours and to stop playing games with me. For the amount of trouble I had with this stupid phone, they ought to replace it with a new one.
