No Communications with Client

Telecommunications

When I was working in Gauteng I took out a phone on a contract on the package Anytime 500, the starting date 17/12/2008. It was a 24 month contract. Almost halve way through the contract I was retrenched and I could not afford the monthly payment anymore. I have a letter which I wrote and which details all the communication between me and staff of the Centurion (top branch). I was told by Bianca Abouchabki (who was the then manager) that i can downgrade the package if i should ever find myself in financial difficulty. Bianca was eventually fired due to false promises to client and I also found out that I could NOT downgrade because the package was bought on a "promotion". I then lodge a enquiry with the staff, none of the staff ever returned to me. I was told by top branch to hand in the phone with the letter I wrote at the bottom branch. I did so and I was told by the staff members at the bottom branch that there is insurance in situations where people get retrenched and I do not have to worry anymore about it. Almost 3 years later I get a call from a lawfirm requiring payment. I then phoned them and after that phoned MTN. My contact details was up to date. I was never contacted.
