I work freelance and by nature, do not pay on an exact date every month, but I do pay 2 contracts every month and Have been a loyal customer for over 13 years.
Every month my service is suspended!
On this occasion I Paid my account on the 5th Jan 2014 but still got suspended on the 7th Jan 2014.
When I called to explain yet again (it's almost like they don't have computers to put notes on so you have to keep explaining over and over from the beginning each time)
The morning of 07 January, I was on hold to speak to a consultant for 32 minutes, then just got hung up on!! That's 32 minutes of my business day gone at R 5 per minute and 32 minutes of my life spent in futility I will never get back, never mind the R1 50 it cost me in unproductive time, If I don't pay, or have a bad track record then it's a different story all together

I challenge MTN to treat people like people, check you confirmation of payments and use your system to see that there are some unique scenarios out there that validate a little consideration
