I've had a topup contract with CELL C for the last 2 years which was due to expire end november 2013. I tried in vain to get an upgrade on the contract before the end of term both telephonically and in-store. When my attempts failed, I just carried on using the sim card throughout december and on the 15th of dec which is the date that the network usually tops me up no airtime was loaded onto my acc, as such I simply took it that CELLC wouldn't be making any further debit orders on my bank acc. Fast forward to 17h08 on the 6th January 2014, I recieve a call from a very rude CELL C "collections agent" who with the tact of a common street thug demands payment without any consideration whatsoever for my grievances. At a point the "agent" Was just too disrespectful for my liking and I dropped the call. Minutes later my service had been summarily suspended by this CELL C agent. My questions to those in charge at CELL C are 1) why after my numerous attempts to get an upgrade have I been ignored 2) is it standard practice for your agents to speak to clients any which way they want? 3) Shouldn't I have at least had a prior warning that my service would be suspended due to your incompetence
