I was due for an upgrade almost 2 years ago, I received a telephone call from a Cell C agent and she went through the process telephonically to upgrade me and informed me that my phone would be delivered shortly. The phone never arrived, I never signed any proof of receipt or any further documentation with Cell C. Thus started a almost 2 year very frustrating process to try get Cell C to follow up and send my phone. I emailed and phoned and aventually Cell C stopped responding to my Email requests for help. I paid my account EVERY month until eventually 3 or 4 months ago I decided to stop paying to get some attention. An agent phoned me about 2 weeks ago, said she would log the call and someone would get back to me. Someone did get back to me to day - Cell C's collection agents which where nor prepared to even listen to what I had to say. I dont know the law that well but I never signed any new contract. I paid R100 a month for over 18 months for a phone I never received and a contract that I never even made 1 little phone call from. It would be really great if someone at Cell C could actually phone me and respond to this query.
