Went to buy Samsung S4. Saw S4Mini. Asked salesman: would Mini work with external USB DAC/ headphone amplifier (compatible with S4)? He said it would. Bought it& discovered Mini does not support external USB device. Went to change phones. Ricardo quoting area manager said I would be able to cancel contract and pay for the remaining 23 months. Not acceptable. He said he would call me back& didn't. I returned. He no longer worked there. Again told cancel contract and pay remaining months. Was given incorrect number- later 2nd incorrect number- for area manager.
Cell C response 21/10 to mail of 1/10 stated: client was not misinformed, he was not told that the S4mini would be compatible; Client activated contract on 04/09 but only returned with this problem on the 25th; Client came to store the 1st time& Ricardo advised him if he wants to cancel he will be liable for the remaining months; When the customer came in the 2nd time he then learnt Ricardo no longer work for the company and stated Ricardo did not advise him; Client has done research on the s4 prior to purchase; At store level he was not mis-informed.
Why would I buy phone that doesn't do what I required?
Fake area manager?!
