I have NEVER had such poor service/communication in the last 5 years as what we have experienced in this last week. We took out an internet package a few months ago where we recieved two laptops and 3gigs of internet. We were told in the MTN shop where we opened this contract that after 3gigs we will be capped and cannot load more internet until the 21st of the month. This is the reason that we took this contract, we knew that after 3 gigs we would not be spending anymore money on internet. Every month we paid our installment for the 3 contracts only to find that our internet is an open line and we are now in arrears! So we phoned 8080 and spoke to Happy who then told us if we paid R3100.00 that day she would reconnect our lines which she did. Yet yesterday we were handed over for our arrears and were told this morning by Henry that he would reverse it all and reconnect us which he didn't do. After phoning since 9:30am this morning we finally got through to Lerato who then tells us that Henry didn't specify that he would only connect incoming calls and Happy had it wrong and we need to pay 50% of the total outstanding amount. I am now ready to cancel all 3 contracts with MTN!!!
