I placed an order for a Standard Uncapped MWeb 2Mbps data and line service on 9 December 2013.
I was advised that I would be informed once my line had been migrated from Telkom to MWeb.

On 31 December 2013 I received a notification of a debit order in excess of R500. The advertised subscription is billable in advance and only amounts to R339 including VAT.

I find this strange as I had to make a call to Mweb's technical support team today, 1 January 2014, using my personal phone and wasting my time, before I was given a username and password.
I received no notification from Mweb of these details prior to this, therefore, a prorated charge for December 2013 is groundless.

MWeb - sort this matter out and contact me shortly to avoid further public complaints and losing my business.
