Mweb tech suppport can't help with its own product

I spoke to Eldrid on 27th December 2013 for Mweb tech support to find out why I am not getting the 2mbps upgrade speed after Telkom's network upgrade in November 2013. Eldrid tells me this is because I am on a 1mbps product offering despite Telkom providing the 2mbps speed. After explaining to him that Mweb themselves do not offer the 1mbps product and that all clients were upgraded automatically (an Mweb email communication was even made to this effect) he then was speechless and continued on to tell me I must call Sales office (which was closed at the time of the call so who would help me?) as he is not aware of this change and cannot help me. How can Mweb call this tech support when the lay man on the street knows more about their products than their own staff? How can he profess to provide me with technical help when he tells me that 2mbps line speed does not exist for me despite the contrary to be true? You know things are really bad when Telkom now knows more and offers better competence and efficiency than privately owned Mweb. Needless to say I shall be considering a move of all our accounts from Mweb should this not be rectified asap!!
