I called Telkom on the 19th of December to move my line to a complex down the road from my current address. Firstly you hold for twenty minutes whilst waiting finally I got through to the center. Finally i got assisted the guy could not pick up my new address. I called a week later and was told they where escalating as they didnt have infrastructure. I called today 31 Jan and the lady when she could not assist me cut the call. HOW RUDE IS THAT. Turns out they dont have infrastrusture in the complex no one can explain what that means and they can only move my line 29 March 2014 this I was told after quering again. Now i must call and hold for another 30 minutes to cancel the line because the lady cut the phone. At work i was recommeded not go wt Telkom for these very reasons and i still did i reegret it this is the worst call center service. Also why must I keep calling them should the service provider not be contacting me to advise when my line will be installed. THIS IS TERRIBLE SERVICE if telkom had given me the 3Gthat came wt my line maybe I would be covered but that never came either they have been claiming not have stock for 9 months now again I must keep asking them?
