I have been struggling to rectify my account for 5 months now. It is driving me insane! My profile has been downgraded in the process as well, to add insult to injury! My contract changed for some reason. I always had a capped data package, and all of a sudden I was being billed for extra data usage. I immediately queried it. I was told it would be rectified immediately. However, 5 months later I am still battling. They insist that I have an open contract but I am disputing it. I insisted on seeing my original contract and I am still waiting. They have since then changed my contract to a capped one, but I have now received another bill for R2500 extra! I have three data contracts, and my argument with them is why would I have 3 contracts if one is an open one?? I have never skipped a payment with Vodacom (I have 6 contracts) so I had a perfect record with them. But now it is a nightmare. My credit rating is being impacted. The service I have received is absolutely shocking. The manager at the Menlyn branch was supposedly going to escalate my query and that was a month ago!!! If i wasn't so dependent on them as my service provider I would change immediately!
