Got a new iPhone on contract 1 December. When I wanted to put call limit on a few days later I was told that the account has already used R1200 in data. The contract I signed has 700meg data per month. Only when I called was I told that I am still on a Blackberry contract and will be till 1 January. I assumed that when I take out a new contract, I will get the benefits thereof. I was told that I have used 800 meg, but only got 100 for the month. Now the cost is R2 per meg. I was not informed of this when I signed the contract. Only after my complaint was I also told that I could buy 1 gig data for R150. I have lodged a complaint with Vodacom, but have had no feedback. I am on holiday and will only be back in Johannesburg in 3 weeks. I was told to take it up with the store, but I am not there. I refuse to pay if I was not informed that I didn't get the data package I signed! I would have bought the 1 gig data for R150 if the whole scenario was explained to me, but now I was being charged R2 per meg! Please fix this as I will refuse to pay! This should be explained to customers!
