Suspension of account on Christmas day

I have been a customer of Vodacom for more than 10 years. I travel abroad many times per year and on occasion my account reach substantial amounts - in the past up to 40, 000 Rand in a month. I am considered a Platinum customer due to the turnover on my account and I have never not-paid or paid Vodacom late. On Christmas day I got a nice surprise - my account and by default all linked accounts, (Wife, son, Data, etc) was suspended without notice or warning. I could not call or SMS anyone on Christmas or Boxing Day. Vodacom support told me that my account is in good standing but only the acquisitions team can assist me. Well on the 27th as things stand the customer acquisition department call centre does not work 09:16 in the morning and I am still stuck. During the past year I have logged several complaints about poor coverage in my area, which until now has only partially been addressed I am really disappointed on Vodacom's shocking service and handling of this situation. My average spend with Vodacom over the past ten years might not be as high as a business but as a individual I am sure it ranks high and it is important that other service users at Vodacom realise how lit
