Good day hello Peter. Today I need to complain about Vodacom. In June this year I got an account for a data modem used by us occasionally for internet at home for R3200.00 for one month's use. This modem sim's contract has expired and we used it month to month. No warning sms or email was sent out to us the subscriber warning that the account is getting high. Their response the modem/sim is out of contract and is considered open. We have 7 lines with Vodacom.
At the end of September I made an arangement with Vodacom customer care/accounts to pay the half of the R3200.00 with my normal account of R2600.00 (R4100.00 in total paid end September) and the other half of the modem account at the end of October. The lines were restred and all was fine.
This morning when I wanted to use my phone I hear my phone line has been suspended. Immediately phone 0821946 to sort out anyone can make a mistake. Ha was I in for a surprise, then I heard because of the manner I pay the account (every month on the 26 - 28th) the lines cannot be reinstated before the payment of R1200.00 (arrears) have been paid. It is the 11th of the month. No notes on system for arrangement??? please help
