UNAUTHORISED AIRTIME TAKEN FROM CONTRACT ACCOUNT

I have been a Vodacom - Contract customer for many years now and never have i downloaded any music, movie etc... on any of my lines.

One of my cellphone contracts is a Business Top Up for R315 p/month where i receive full airtime for this amount. I have not used this number for 3 months which should have accumulated my airtime and should have been R900 by now.

To my dismay this weekend past i discovered that my account is nil. I called customer care and they confirmed nil balance and told me that i have a Vodafone Live Subscription which i am not aware of at all. Apparently it is not one of Vodacom's service products, but they can't tell me who?

Now i have to fax them a request for months itemised billing at a cost of R22.80 for each month. Then gave me a number in Joburg i have to contact in January as they closed to see if they can see how this subscription came about. Now R900 is out of my account and Vodacom my service provider cannot supply me with any information and yet we paying these people so much money every month for service.

I am extremely disappointed and angry this is money taken illegally from me...

So waiting for urgent response.
