Closed accounts but still billed

I had a contract with Virgin Mobile and i closed the accounts when the contract period ended (August 2013). In October I ported my number to a new cellphone network, however Virgin Mobile still bills me with the contract amount. I tried calling their customer centre but to no avail. Can you please assist.
