Vodacom contract

I received a call from one of the sales people from homemark. She signed me up for a contract that I didn't agree on. She never explained to me that it was a contract, she told me "you are one of vodacom's loyal customers & you've been with vodacom for so long & we giving you a free gift" me thinking I'm getting something for free agreed to the free gift. Then after that they deducted money from my account for a contract I never agreed on. Phonning to cancel the contract was such a slep for me. Please can you help me so that other people don't go through the same as I have went through. This is misleading advertisement.
