I purchased an iphone 4 charger on the 20/09/13. After taking it home, then attempted to use the charger, but did not fit in my phone. I returned to the store on the 23/09/13 to exchange/ return the charger. A consultant then proceeded to help, whom in turn tried to fit the charger into my phone. He then approached his Manager (Lumley Khoba). 5 minuets later Lumley then approached me. She did not greet me, nor did she smile or attempt to handle the matter in a professional manner. She immediately stated in a harsh tone that she cannot credit or exchange the charger because I "cut" the sides of the pin. Why would I do this, is beyond me...
She continued to raise her voice and insisted that I damaged the charger intentionally. At no time was Lumley Khoba courteous, showed any customer or management skills. She was exceptionally rude and abrupt and refused to offer any professional assistance. The cost of the charger was R170.00 and even the replacement charger that they used to test the phone was slightly different to the one that was supplied to me. Lumley Khoba (011) 4656409 from Vodacom (above Ster Kinekor) Fourways Mall - clearly needs professional training or must be replaced.
