I have reported a fault with telkom on the 24th, which after a week of not having a phone or adsl they sent a technician through. The technician ran a test on the line and said the dslam was faulty and he would go fix it and come back to me.15 minutes later I received a message saying my fault was closed without him fixing anything.

I called telkom again and they said they have no report of a technician having been there only that someone closed the fault. They would have to restart the process and log a new fault which they did and then informed me their tech department would call me and send someone through the next day.i took the day off work to wait for the technician and no1 arrived at 11 am I called telkom again and they apologized and took my details and assured me I would short, y be called by a technician. No calls again a few hours later and I have called again and been promised that I will be called yet again so instead I have asked for a manager. I have currently been on hold for the last 30 min waiting for the operator to find someone who can help me... I have been informed that all supervisors are busy but I will be contacted by a Mr Mali randoo.
