My parents who are in their 70's are just trying to find the best option for them in the complicated world of Mobile Phones... They do everything the right way! They pay their bills! They have a conscience!
However, they are being treated so badly by Virgin Mobile Accounts... not the staff, they try to be helpful (as do My parents). The problem with Virgin Mobile Accounting!
Here is a brief history (if this request for help is not responded to, I will go public in a much bigger way - I hate seeing innocent people being treated badly in general, let alone my parents)
Contract started with Virgin Mobile on 8 June 2011
Cancelled 28 June at Eastgate branch.
Told they must pay until 1 September???!!! Why???
Ported on 12 Aug to Vodacom pay as you go in desperation as Virgin had blocked their phone even thought they were still paying to September!!! They could NOT ADD TOP UP and number was un-reachable!!!
They then decided to port and start contract with CellC on 14 August (provided history to them and were told everything was fine... this part is possibly a CellC staff training issue?)
They now need to wait 2 months... THEIR CONTRACT WAS OVER IN JUNE VIRGIN MOBILE!!!
