Basically in a nut shell a few weeks ago my 1 meg internet line speed and stability went down the drain. Contacted Telkom many many times to eventually get a technician out. Who basically said and i quote " you guys are so far from the exchange that telkom would of never installed an adsl line, must of been a private job", We have been using a 1 meg connection for the better part of 3 years with no problems. now that its unstable and slow and apparently not telkom approved which it is by the way. they just told me, deal with it and be happy you have some speed. So they dont really care about whether it gets fixed at this stage or any stage for that matter. So really poor customer support and follow ups on the problem.
