Firstly I have been with MTN for about 15 years and had more than 1 account with them. Currently I have 3 accounts with them. in the early days they used to have a "Bill limit" & "Call Limit" it was never explained how this worked until I learnt the expensive way when my 2 teenage kids at that time brought me a bill of R10 000. my so called bill and call limit was supposed to be activated to R10 more than the subs price. The amount had to be paid on due date and that is it. The latest is I upgraded my account in April to a contract R100 cheaper that my old on 250 megs of data. This was not activated and was billed R100 extra every month and no data. I went into the branch in Umhlanga in July and the consultant put a not in the system but still the same. went in again in October and was told by a lady that there was no instructions and will reload it, when asked about my credit of all the months and the data, she said that "she will see what she can do" as if I am asking for a favour.
I received my bill end of Oct to the correct but no credit at all. As always not even a call from them I had to do the running around. Why am I still with them? to save hassle of new account but no m
