Cancelling account 2 days after debit orde

Telecommunications

Web Africa can be a great ISP; but their high usage policy is extremely vague; and pretty ridiculous, since the ONLY reason I buy UNCAPPED is to download - restricting my downloading because "it impacts other users" is A) Telkoms fault (and), and B) a great way to make money by screwing over customers.

TWO days after my debit order came off, I get a phone call that due to high usage my account is cancelled, I must purchase another account if I want to continue using them. YES, I understand I missed 2 emails requesting to lower my downloads, but please, that ain't gonna happen.

My only issue with all of this is they didn't automatically cancel my account on the last day of the month due to high usage, WHICH THEY KNEW ABOUT BEFORE THE END OF THE MONTH. They wait until literally just after I have paid to cancel my line, forfeiting my payment "because I already used the product". Like I had a choice. A responsible company would not customers money and double charge them (which purchasing a new account with them would be).

So, whilst having 10% extra speed (220kbps downloads on a 2mb line) was cool, and they are easy to deal with, they ur money.

Tho Who Doesn't...
