I have a 2mb premium uncapped account with Mweb which was throttled on midnight of 15th Sept 2013, ever since then I can barely open a web page like google, it takes literally about 5-10 minutes. I contacted Mweb and they informed me that I had high usage and that the account would be reviewed in 5-6 days. The fact of the matter is I'm paying R599 for a "UNCAPPED" account and now that I can't even browse is just ridiculous. I have been a loyal customer for 2-3 years and now because of this, I am utterly disappointed. Don't advertise what you can't back up, especially if the limit for fair usage is an unknown figure. I threatened to cancel my account and the representative didn't even try fight to keep me as a customer. Mweb have shot themselves in the foot with this new fair usage policy. I think it might be time to move on to another ISP.
