Excessive throttling uncapped users

Hi Afrihost,
One of your agents followed up with me regarding an outage i had over the weekend - which Telkom resolved. I then asked him (Sipiwe i Believe) why my 4mb uncapped line is so slow. i was informed its because my account is being managed for high usage - 5 days 27 GB of data approx. downloaded. Previous months usage was 300GB.
I understand afrihost managing acceptable use, no problem.
what i take issue with is the fact that my account is managed so heavily that after 5 days and 27GB (approx.) of data being downloaded my 4mb uncapped line is managed to the point where its comparable to 512KB line when doing downloads.
This is not value for money at R697.00. i pay for a 4mb uncapped line for a reason, In addition this is a new month what has my data usage of January got to do with February?
To manage an uncapped user for downloading 27GB is ridiculous, i would be better of getting a capped account - and probably still save money. It makes no sense.
As customers we still pay for a service - afrihost is not doing us a favor - we pay for a product and as a customer I'd like to have value for money. I responded to Sipiwe by mail yesterday 2013/02/6 and yet received no reply
