I have received an SMS from a legal company informing i have to pay legal fees plus my outstanding telkom bill, which i was informed had been paid! My telkom account was closed months back via a conversation with telkom. They informed me of a settlement amount, which was paid shortly after. One SMS, from telkom was received after the payment had been done, stating there was an outstanding amount. Telkom was contacted and they informed that the amount must of been settle and to ignore the SMS if you had paid, so it was ignored. Now i have been handed over to legal, who want to charge me for a fee for there services. Again this has been forward to me via SMS, no call or email. To add to all of this, the number they have been sending these SMS's to is not mine, just the phone i used phone and set up the account! If the account was not settled i would/will pay the amount, but not the bogus legal fees. Yet again, bad service from Telkom and lack of communication!
