Levingers
Levingers damages curtains

After a sewerage leak we took 4 drops of curtains ot Levingers (a pressumably reputable brand) in Rivonia for Dry Cleaning. We paid over R1000 for the dry cleaning. To start with it took 4 weeks to get the curatins back as we were told that the lining had shrunk and they were going to replace it. Then they said the lining needed to be replaced again. When the curtains came back 3 of the 4 drops had shrunk by 20cm! 1 of the 3 drops had shrunk but only a few cm. We complained and were put onto Zenobia during the 4 week wait. The dramatic shrinking was reported to Zenobia and she arranged to take them away for stretching. She could not explain why 3 of teh 4 drops shrunk so dramatically but said it was probably different roles of material. The new lining on one of the drops is now longer than the curtain so looks even worse. the streching had little effect and now Zenobia does not answer calls and has no voicemail facility. Don't take yur curtains to Levingers for dry cleaning.
