I booked my phone in with Vodacom Bayside in last week. I then received a sms saying that my phone was booked into Vodacom Tygervalley for the repair. I then called there and spoke to Janine who advised me on what the process was. I faxed her all the insurance information. She also advised me that there is an option to backup all the data at a cost of R100. I remember speaking to her on more than one occasion advising her to proceed with the backup and that I was willing to pay the R100. I then called this morning as I was getting the same sms for the past few days and was just following up on the status of my phone. She then informed me that my phone was done and was being sent to Bayside. I then just by chance ask her if all my information was backed up. She said she would call me back. She then called me back to tell me that they did not manage to backup my data. THat is a story as they forgot to do it. What is this. I am a F78king paying customer and to be told this type of is pathetic. Vodacom is truly losing itself with such service and incompetent staff. I demand feedback from superiors!!
