How can a 5 day repair take 24 days and counting

I sent my phone in for repairs on 6th October. I accepted the quote, and the phone got sent back unrepaired (according to Vodacom my fault for not getting the name of the person to whom I spoke to about accepting the quote) I was then informed my warrantee is void if I get a third party to repair, so I resent the phone to Vodacom repair centre with the guarantee that I will have it back within 7 days. After 7 days I phone to find out the status - get the new quote (now R100 more) am held over a barrel and accept the quote and pay. Two days later I get an sms that the phone is now being assessed. I phone the advanced repair centre and am told that the phone might be ready for collection by Tuesday next week. This is 33 days from when I handed it in. Bad service Vodacom, and some of your staff have an awful customer service / interaction.
