My ADSL line stopped working sunday morning. I reported it at 8:30 and was told 48 hrs for telkom to repond.

Since then I have spent - 4 Hours on the telephone with Afrihost, every time I phone I get the "We have had a influx of calls" message, so they have an influx of calls all day every day and I have to spend - 30 minutes to get through to someone.
I try their send "help" sms facility... I am still waiting for the call back.

Then their call center people, they always give me a different story why the line is down, I even had one person try tell me they are upgrading my exchange, on tuesday I find out that they had logged the fault incorrectly (Intermittent service, instead of no service) so now they keep trying to tell me the fault is only a day old.
I can ask for a manager and they will put me on hold then cut me off after 10 minutes when they realize I am not going to end the call myself.

NOT once did they attempt to help or be helpful, all they want to do is get me off the phone. When I ask why has no-one come to check the line, I get "it has been logged"

All I want to know is when the line will be looked at and have a reason why it is down and how long to fix it.
