On the 3rd of July I applied for an ADSL line and account from Afrihost. After two weeks of waiting I called their call center and was advised that there is problem with Telkom and ADSL in my area. After numerous emails and calls Afrihost then advised me that my line is working and I was subsequently billed, this on the 6th of August. I then got home and checked but my line was not working, I then called their call center and was told that my line is not active on the Telkom side. I then mailed them to check what the problem was and was told via email that all is in order. This cycle continued for a whole week, the call center says the line is not working, but they respond via email saying it is. Now i ask for refund and they say it will take 5 - 7 days for a refund?
This was a very frustrating experience and I would not advise any one to use Afrihost as their ISP.
