Only do Half a Job and Dont care

Just after praising Telkom to friends for prompt service these days they let us down. I got home on Monday night 28th January 2013 to find my home phone and adsl were down. I logged a fault online and was amazed that someone contacted me by lunch time the next day to come look at fault. He arrived only to find that Telkom had been updating the cables into our complex yet the cable was just rolled up in the ground box. It is now Thursday and not one person from Telkom has returned to complete the job. If they are to undertake on such a job how about making sure they can timeously finish the job or even notify the residents about down time. I am pretty sure that we will still be charged rental for this time we are down even though it is telkoms fault. I work from home on the internet at evenings and is quite a inconvenience.
