I have a telkom ADSL (Faster) which I get 10GiG per month at 2Mbps and my monthly payment is R499.00. this all is per the form which I was helped to fill by a telkom assistant. he said for the first month i'll pay more and I was not worried about that. Then their router was a month old, the power cable was tripping my main switch so I called them to replace it. they sent a technician who said the fault was the cable and it's not Telkom's fault. But this router was only a month old. I had to go buy myself a new cable and I was billed R220.00 by Telkom for the technitian. I went to Telkom Direct in Centurion Mall on the 19th to query this and they just gave me a phone to call 10210 which takes the whole day to answer the phone. While on the phone I found out that my ADSL speed was (FAST) which is 1Mbps.
Now my internet is not working and I phoned telkom today 28/01/2013 and they cant find fault with it, now they are already booking another techinitian to come to my house who will say it's not Telkom's fault and I will have to pay for it, this is daylight roberry.
Can telkom please refer to my application form and give me what I requested at the R499.00 as per their special.
