DSL Repair that never happens

I reported a fault on my DSL line on Sunday (06/01), a whole week later, the line is still down. Now I understand that some things take time, but they cant or wont tell me what the problem is; and keep informing me that my line is perfectly fine when its not.

2013-1-06: Reported the fault
2013-1-07: SMS from Telkom "tested and found fault free", no it is not fault free, called again.
2013-1-08: Same SMS again, support said my line is syncing, when it was not.
2013-1-09: Called for update, support said the vault has been closed... They reopened and escalated it.
2013-1-10: Heard nothing, support said its "on going"
2013-1-11: Heard nothing again, support said "but a tech tended to your line at 11am today" except it's still broken. Support said he would "send it to his supervisor"
2013-1-12: Still broken, 2nd escalation, promise that the tech would contact me (Never happened)
2013-1-13: Phoned in the morning, support tried to phone the tech, couldn't reach him, but "would keep trying". Phoned again around 6pm, escalation had been canceled because Telkom's policy is "6 working days" before a fault can be escalated (who knew?)

I give up.
