Extended delay on upgrading my contract

On 29/11/2013 I went into MTN Gateway for an upgrade to iPhone 5S. Now I had already migrated to prepaid from my previous contract and was ready to port but the service from MTN Gateway was really good and they went out of their way to get me back onto a contract without having to wait the 3 month retention period as they understood I needed a phone urgently.

Once that was sorted they needed to do the upgrade but the term date caused an issue as it could not be changed. Viloshnee, the store manager, as well as Esther tried their best to rectify it by making numerous calls while we waited trying to get it sorted then and there so I could leave with the phone.

But whomever they spoke to insisted they will attend to it but the necessary changes were never made and the upgrade could not be effected.
The staff at MTN Gateway are helpful but your behind the scenes service is pathetic, be it technical services or accounts department - whoever is responsible for this term date change that needs to be effected before I can upgrade. How does it take 3 full days to rectify a term date error?

No one seems to understand the urgency of the matter! I could have ported in quicker time!
