This year around the 22nd of May I went to MTN Northgate to have my Mtn contract upgraded. The sales person there did not have a clue what he was doing, after about 40min. of waiting to have the contract upgraded he told me that I can't have the phone upgraded as it's not in my name but in a business name, I told him he has no clue what he is doing and that I wanted to speak to the manager, the manager could also not sort the problem out, needless to say after about an hour waiting, I told them that I am not interested in upgrading the contract anymore, and that I would wait for the full term of the contract, (Sept. 2012) and then I want my contract to be terminated as I am getting bad service and would rather move over to Vodacom as I have an existing contract with them and I am very happy. That evening I received an SMS saying my upgrade was successful, I went back to them the following day, they assured me that the upgrade was reversed and cancelled. I left it there only to find out that I was billed for the upgrade end on June. I did not receive an phone, I did not pay any upgrading fee, I did not sign any papers. I AM ALSO NOT GETTING THROUGH TO ANY CALL CENTER!!!
