Sending your phone to Vodacom Gateway for a software upgrade? You could be wasting your time... of driving there, waiting in the queue, explaining your technical issues, getting told by the agent that all your phone's content will be deleted once the upgrade is done & then after a week, driving back, waiting in the queue to collect your phone & then coming home to find that all that has changed on your phone is the cover & screensaver. NO SOFTWARE UPGRADE!!! & then you call the branch who never answers their phones at 5pm when the store closes at 7pm!! I am so disappointed at the service I receive from the Gateway branch, but I have no other choice BUT to take my phone there each time I have a software issue. It makes me question the integrity of the staff. What value of the company are you upholding when you tell a client their phone is being sent for a software upgrade but all you do is change the cover? It's not as though we don't pay your salaries, WE DO. What QA process does Vodacom have in place to make sure that client's do receive the best service and not just by the call center??? I have TWO CONTRACTS with you. My bIll is over R1500 every month & STILL I get bad service!!
